With the projects ‘Analysis & Planning Stage’ and ‘UX/UI Design Stage‘ complete it’s time to begin the process of building your website.

The technical architecture will usually be developed upon an Open Source Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla and Drupal, or an Open Source Ecommerce System such as Woocommerce, Opencart or Magento CE depending on your organisation’s needs.

Utilising open-source software platforms such as these offers huge benefits. Developed and maintained by a community of thousands, the open-source format means that the platforms are continuously being improved to support new internet technologies. With all of these systems, basic functions can be enhanced ad infinitum with an ever-expanding array of add-ons, contributed from their respective communities. We Strongly feel this is a far better solution than being tied into a proprietary platform owned and maintained by a single company and openly advocate the use of well established Open Source Platforms.

Upon chosen platform identified in the ‘Planning Stage’ we will begin to code the site’s modular PHP elements developing any custom functionality needed and the CMS Template Implementation (Theme). Custom Hypertext Markup Language (HTML/HTML5 ) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS/CSS3) is utilised to define markup and visual elements from the design stage. Whilst JavaScript, and JavaScript libraries such as JQuery are used for the sites interactive elements. With help from databases and other technologies your site will go from a flat design concept to a fully functional website.

If needed your website can be made accessible by mobile devices. Utilising the latest in “Responsive Web Design”, your website will easily adapt to the screen size of the device it’s being viewed on whilst creating a seamless experience for your users and maintaining the consistent design for you brand.

Cross-Browser/Device Testing is conducted to check how page templates will render in major web browsers and mobile devices to maintain a coherent user experience.

The final stage is project deployment after launching the website our work is definitely not done yet. We always monitor our sites from the start enabling us to fix any possible deficiencies quickly and effectively.
